A active cooling for sensitive control technology
Task:
In a belt press with an operating temperature of 400 degrees C, temperature-sensitive electronics were mounted near the heat sources. There was not enough space available for pure thermal protection.
Solution:
To protect the electronics from damage, the module was enclosed. 3 components were developed for the housing. These consisted of a heat protection system in conbiation with an aluminium cold plate. The system of the warming plates could reduce the temperature up to 120 degrees C. The residual heat was transported away from the assemblies by a cooling medium.
