Busse Heizplattentechnik GmbH - since 1986

The Busse Heizplattentechnik was founded in 1986 with 8 employees in a small rented workshop. Press tools and heating plates for woodworking were produced.

CNC machining - from the very beginning with

As long ago as 1989, buses used heating plate technology for computer-controlled production. The first CNC milling machine was used exclusively for the manufacture of pressing tools and had excellent traverse paths in X, Y and Z axes for its time.

Continuous growth since 1990

1991 the rented premises became too small and the company invested in a new production facility in the industrial area Nord in Espelkamp. The production hall with 2400 m² and the office building with 400 m² were opened for use in May 1991.

Certified since 1994

In 1994 the first CAD system was put into operation and Busse Heizplattentechnik GmbH was certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001 in order to meet the increasing requirements of its customers. Furthermore, a new warehouse with 840 m² usable area was put into operation.

5 years later, in 1999 the production was enlarged by another 375 m². In the meantime the machine park was extended by further CNC milling machines.

On 25.03.2002, managing directors Rosel and Horst Busse turned the corner for the construction of another production hall. Useful area: 2500 m². This was put into operation in spring 2003.

The foundation stone for the continuation of the family business was laid in 2007: With Thorsten Busse - master of precision mechanics - the son of Rosel and Horst Busse is appointed to the management board.

2014: The machine park comprises 11 CNC milling machines. The portal machining centre >matec-30 p< enables computer-aided machining on an area of 7500 x 2900 x 1200 mm. Design and programming are carried out at 4 CAD/CAM workstations and a press with a size of 6000 x 2200 mm is available for the production of flat heating plates.

November 2015: After almost 30 years, Rosel and Horst Busse are leaving the company's management. Petra Hoffmeyer succeeds them as the new managing director. Together with Thorsten Busse she now manages the fortunes of the company.

2016: Busse Fertigungstechnik is founded as the 3rd pillar.

2018: Due to the good and stable development of the acryl-decor subsidiary in the past years, the decision was made in spring 2017 to build a new production hall with an area of approx. 1,600 m² for the subsidiary in a wide production hall. In the 1st quarter of 2018, the company was able to move into the new production hall and fill it with life. The vacated space will immediately be taken over by Heizplattentechnik. They are urgently needed for the ever larger components.

March 2019: Delivery of the largest foam trays manufactured to date. The 9200 x 2800 mm measuring trays are the first trays that are not composed of several segments. This represents a quantum leap for the product quality of our customer.
